What is Mobile Tiki Week?

A: It’s a week-long celebration in which downtown Mobile transforms into a tropical and luau-esque getaway! Local bars, restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops feature themed drinks, dishes, performances, and other special events.

When is Mobile Tiki Week?

A: The 2025 dates for Mobile Tiki Week are August 18-23.

How many businesses are involved with Tiki Week?

A: 32 of Mobile’s downtown businesses are participating in Tiki Week. 

How do I participate?

A: Grab a passport at any participating restaurant and sign up for the free 2025 Mobile Tiki Week Experience Trail pass. Check in at one of the 32 locations, and start exploring! Each check-in gets you closer to fun, Tiki-themed prizes.

What kind of food and drinks are featured?

A: Expect everything from fruity rum cocktails and coconut-flavored cold brews to island-style tacos and tropical desserts. Each location puts its own spin on tiki flair!

Do I need to wear tropical attire?

A: While it’s not required, it’s definitely encouraged! Hawaiian shirts, hula skirts, leis, sunglasses and bold prints help bring the island spirit to life.

Is there an age requirement?

A: Many participating locations have 21+ offerings due to alcohol service, but several coffee shops and daytime spots are family-friendly. Be sure to check each business’s hours and age policies.

Does it cost anything?

A: Mobile Tiki Week itself is free to join! Food, drink and transportation costs are up to you.

Can I win prizes?

Where can I park?

Downtown Mobile has plenty of street and garage parking. We also encourage using one of our local transportation options or rideshare apps if you plan to enjoy a few tiki cocktails. Please drink responsibly!
